Rogers County RWD #3 High demand has caused some concern. The district wants customers to limit "non-essential" watering to three days a week. That includes landscaping, yards, trees, gardens, car washing and pools. Non-essential watering for every customer is banned Sundays. It's also banned Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for those west of North 177th Avenue - or eastern Owasso - and between NS 4150 Road and the Verdigris River, or an area north of Claremore. The schedule is Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for those east of North 177th East Avenue and west of the Verdigris River - the Keetonville Hill area - and east of NS 4150 Road, or the Foyil area. - M

Sequoyah County Water Association Seven line breaks over the weekend (7/16/11) causing areas of low pressure or no water during peak hours. Having trouble filling tanks. Low pressure in high elevations, specifically Rocky on HWY 549 and McKee on HWY 64. The district has contacted all the local papers and TV stations in the areas to request customers to limit usage during peak hours and boil their water if they experience no water during peak hours. - M

Willow The town has three wells the two older wells (#1 & #2) are now dry. The operator said they went dry when area farmers started using irrigation wells. The town is able to supply water to the town using the newest well (#3), but they have no backup well. Voluntary rationing has been implemented. Also Willow does have a supply connection to Thirsty Water Corporation which can be utilized.
